Savory Sautéed Kale

What You’ll Need:

5 minutes prep | 6 minutes cook

Makes 4 Servings

12oz frozen chopped kale

1 1/2 tsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp olive oil

1/2c chicken broth

1Tbsp Sherri Cooking Wine

1/2 tsp

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Steam the frozen kale in the microwave in steamer bag 6 minutes on high

  2. On the stovetop, sauté the garlic and olive oil until fragrant (1-2 minutes) stirring often over medium-high heat.

  3. Add steamed kale, broth, cooking wine and seasoning. Toss gently to coat the kale well.

  4. Continue to sauté for 5-6 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated. Stir frequently and gently.

  5. Serve warm.

This makes a great side or a light, savory meal.
